With just a few days to go until the election, and only 12% of ballots returned, I am working nonstop to contact voters and get out the vote.

Just one week to go until the election! As of today, only 8% of ballots have been returned.
If you haven't voted yet, it's time dig that ballot out of the mail pile and fill it in! There's still time to mail your ballot in before May 15, or drop it at an official ballot drop-off site.

This week's announcement that Supt. Vicki Phillips is leaving Portland Public Schools was deeply disappointing, when so much work remains to be done in this District. It was also surprising given that the Superintendent and the current Board had recently signed a 3-year contract.
